I'm all for quote/unquote 'metal chicks' and 'tattooed venuses' and what have you. And I know a lot of cool guys (and a few cool girls) that really love them for their ideals on acceptance, deviation from the norm, and their pursuit to redefine the terms of beauty.

I think it's bullshit.

'Redefining the terms of beauty' I'm not sure if that's the site's mantra, or if it's just the universally contrived bullshit that fans like to satiate themselves with, either way, it's totally bogus. In what way would any of these women not be seen as beautiful even if judging by societal norms?
Small noses, big eyes, heavy make-up, thin, large breasts, large hips, white.

I totally love it when something supposedly 'alt' digitally manipulates the bodies of women just to conform to a specific and rather narrow-minded standard. And I love how their wiki statement says "the purpose of the site is to give women control over how their sexuality is depicted"
